Practical year of restoration in Hamburg

of the trainees of
the Hamburg Practical
Year
The Blank Art Foundation supports young students taking part in the Hamburg Restoration Practical Year with a bursary that enables the 10 to 14 trainees per year to earn a decent living in an urban environment during their training.
To this end, we cooperate with the Hamburg Historical Museums Foundation ( https://www.shmh.de) as the sponsor of the programme for the conservation and restoration of cultural assets. The internship is also a prerequisite for applying for a place on the restoration studies diploma course and is therefore an important opportunity to promote young talent in this field of art.

“Thanks to the Foundation’s support, we are able to concentrate fully on the internship. This is also an important contribution to equal opportunities for subsequent years. We feel appreciated and recognised. Thank you.”
